Pamela has over 35 years experience in research/clinical histology and microscopy with MMA, GMA, Epoxies resins, paraffin and frozen procedures. Her expertise in immunohistochemistry will allow CORL to offer staining with MMA, paraffin and frozen sectioning as well as some immunogold procedures for EM. The laboratory will maintain GLP standards and inspections as a contract laboratory doing pre-clinical and clinical trials in special histology procedures for bone, soft tissue and stint applications with biomaterials as well as routine tissue research. Protocols for non-decalcified and decalcified are offered to potentially allow all phases of bone histology in one laboratory. The goal of the CORL group is to continue education in these specialized areas histology and will train new histologists and students to assure a standard of research and development in the future.
